Game 1: 6/19/2010

Saturday game against BLS was a hard fought battle with the Kent/Auburn team coming out on top 13 to 10. Lisa Kamaunu went 2 for 4 with a clutch 3 run homer in the first gave Kent/Auburn a strong start. But after a quick lead, BLS was able to fight back and take the lead in the 2nd 8 to 7, but that would be the last time the Kent/Auburn team would be behind. Kent/Auburn would load the bases in the 3rd for Lisa Kamaunu and she delivered a key 2 run single, and Samantha Noszlopy (3 for 3) also contributed with a 2 run single that allowed the Kent/Auburn girls to recapture the lead and Kent/Auburn girls never looked back. Key pitching from Jordan Engman, and a scoreless final 2 innings from Payton Kalka which included a game ending double play by Lisa Kamaunu put Kent/Auburn into the winner bracket.

Game 2: 6/20/2010

Sundays game against Federal Way/Soundview was a wet cold morning but both teams were able to play a strong defensive ballgame but in the end Kent/Auburn was able to prevail to victory 6 to 4. This game was about pitching with Jordan Engman coming up clutch pitching all 6 innings. Kent/Auburn was able to get off to a fast start once again with key singles by Payton Kalka, Jordan Engman, and a key 2 run single by Lisa Kamaunu to give the girls an early 2 run lead. The score would remain 2 to 1 going into the bottom of the 4th when Kent/Auburn erupted with a 4 run inning that included a run scoring double by Ashley Myrseth-Barrea and a run scoring single by Brianna Azevedo. Federal Way/Soundview would make a game out of it scoring 2 runs in the 5th but Jordan Engman proved to be too strong striking out 11 batters in the game and the final 3 to end the game.
